St Luke's congratulates the Class of 2018 on the achievement of their outstanding HSC Results.
The School is beyond proud of their efforts and are thrilled with the way they bonded as a Year group, working together to support each other and demonstrating the impact of taking ownership of their learning.
The Year 12 students, who demonstrated the dispositions of powerful learners, managed themselves with confidence as they faced their assessments and examinations throughout the year.
This year, there were 95 Year 12 students who sat for the HSC Examinations, with several Year 11 students also sitting for HSC Mathematics, Studies of Religion and French. Between them, the students have achieved the following:
- Top ATAR of 99.5
- 25% of ATARS over 95
- 40% of ATARS over 90
- 170 Band 6 (E4s), including Notional Band 6's
- 76% of all results were Band 5 or Band 6
The results have seen St Luke's State ranking increase to an incredible 34th place overall, and the students' achievements have placed the School 4th amongst all Non-Selective Co-Educational schools in NSW (behind only Reddam House, Al Faisal College and Moriah College).
We congratulate the students, who, for the 6th year in a row, have achieved the HSC ranking of "Top Independent School on the Northern Beaches."
- 34th in the State
- 4th Non-Selective Co-Educational School in the State
- 1st Independent School on the Northern Beaches.
