St Luke’s Grammar Junior School is a nurturing, dynamic and busy environment. The Junior School’s 350 pupils range from Cottage (a school readiness programme for four year olds) to Year 5.
Our Junior School is well known for its caring and supportive atmosphere and its commitment to the welfare of each child. While academic work and discipline are important, we are conscious that children who attend St Luke's feel valued and connected.
The one campus environment for students from Kindergarten to Year 12 allows Junior School students access to Senior School staff and facilities in Computers, Science, Library, Music and Physical Education.
Junior school classrooms are all equipped with networked computers, a digital projector and interactive whiteboard. Additionally all have access to the computer labs within the school.
There are two parallel classes per year level. A unique feature of the Junior School is the leadership role taken by Year 5 students.
The Head of Junior School, Mr Tim Johnson and the Deputy, Mrs Judy Faulkner, take responsibility for the daily running of the Junior School.
The vital thread running through all Junior School activity is our Christian foundation and our striving to make Christ our Light.
