St Luke's Beyond the School Gate Program seeks to reveal to our current Senior Students what life is like beyond the school gate. As such, each term we invite two ex-students back to St Luke's to talk to our Seniors about their experiences.

Recently we welcomed back Nathan Booker (1997) and Hannah Sharp (2000). Nathan completed his Law degree at Macquarie University and is currently working in commodities law at Macquarie Bank. He also recently married ex-student Bree Hulme (1999) who is a specialist psychologist.
Hannah is in her final year of Architecture at Sydney University. She is living in the city, finishing her thesis and working on a pet project designing and building a house in Berry. Hannah hopes to spend a year in France next year.
Hannah and Nathan both spoke of their experiences at school and encouraged current students to have goals and work hard to keep a sense of perspective and balance in life. They spoke about the importance of friendship and of making the most of a great school like St Luke's, for all the opportunities, relationships and support it offers.
We encourage you to connect with our Deputy Student Welfare, Dr Peter Downey to be part of our Beyond the School Gate Program inspiring current students to make a difference in the world.

In 2008, St Luke's Grammar School welcomed Mrs Margaret Douglass to the School as she launched her new book, "A Vision Splendid; The St Luke's Story 1961 to 1993." Over 100 students and their families attended the launch. Copies of the book are available by emailing Mrs Douglass at midouglas@tadaust.org.au.
