CO-CURRICULAR

There is a diverse range of co-curricular activities on offer to students at St Luke's. Our students can follow individual interests with opportunities in areas including art, bands, chess, choirs, community service, dance, debating, drama, pilates and sport.

Students from St Luke's take part in interschool and local debating and public speaking, mock trial and sporting competitions. In 2006 the St Luke's team won the State section of the "Evatt Trophy Competition" organised by The United Nations Youth Association. Our team gained second place in the National Competition.

All students from Year 3 take part in an outdoor education program through participation in annual camps. The Duke of Edinburgh Scheme offers older students opportunities to further develop skills.

The school organises optional trips for Middle and Senior School students. In the past these have included the annual Bike for Bibles ride to Mount Koscuiszko, Noumea study tours, a Kokoda trek, a community service program in Uganda and Rugby and Netball tours.
