Music class with a difference!
It was so exciting to welcome Michelle Martine and Beau Golden to St Luke’s today, to run some contemporary music workshops for students in Years 8 – 12.
Michelle (The Voice 2) has played with a wide variety of acts from Smokey Robinson and Robbie Williams to Silverchair, Ronan Keating and Jessica Mauboy.
Beau is one of Australia’s most in-demand keyboard players, currently playing for Guy Sebastian, Reece Mastin and Jessica Mauboy, among others.
The duo engaged the students with a repertoire of songs and mashes, inspired them with insights on how to write songs, and encouraged them to interact with lively renditions of popular songs!
