CIS Girls Basketball Champions
On Wednesday 20 July, our Open Girls' Basketball Team played two games out at Hill Basketball Stadium to compete for the CIS Championship. Our Girls played Redlands in their first game and the game was back and forth the entire way with our girls edging ahead in the final stages for a well-deserved win, 58-53. The girls' second game was against Loreto Normanhurst. The girls got off to a hot start and never looked back and won the game comfortably 90-51.
As a result, our girls were crowned CIS Champions and will now go on to compete at the All Schools tournament which is later in Term 3. Congratulations girls on a terrific performance!
