Rip Curl GromSearch National Champion

We have another National Champion in our midst! 

Congratulations to Sol G (Year 9) who placed first in the U14 Boys National Finals for the Rip Curl GromSearch Competition at URBNSURF in Melbourne! We would also like to congratulate Fletcher K (Year 9) who competed in the U16 division of the competition.

The Rip Curl GromSearch is an iconic series of events for junior surfers that started in Australia and has developed in over 10 other countries, with over 3,000 competitors worldwide. The students were selected to compete in the final event based on their performances in earlier competitions and competed against the best junior surfers across the country.

Both Sol and Fletcher are outstanding representative of the St Luke's Grammar School Elite Surfing Program and we wish them all the best in future competitions!
