IberCup Elite International Youth Tournament

Congratulations to Giselle W (Year 7), who is part of the St Lukes High-Performance Soccer Academy, who has been selected to represent the IberCup Australia Select team at the IberCup Elite International Youth tournament in April!
 
The 11-player squad was selected from trials, academies and scouting conducted in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, and she will be the first ever girl to be selected from Australia to participate in the boys’ competition. Confirmed teams include Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, and Manchester City and the annual tournament attracts the best academy sides from South America, Europe and Africa. 
 
While there, Giselle will train at the Real Madrid and Sporting Lisbon Academies in front of Luis Dias who coached Christian Ronaldo when he was 14 years old.
