Manly Shield Cricket Champions

Congratulations to the St Luke’s Senior Boys Cricket Team who have won their Manly Cup T20 Grand Final to be crowned champions of the Northern Beaches!

The boys batted first and put on a very competitive score of 148 with a strong contribution from Year 10 students Oliver H, who scored an impressive 40 Not Out, and Zac B who scored a powerhouse 33. Sam P also deserves a mention for his supporting role of 19 with the bat.

Some smart bowling and excellent out-fielding (including an incredible catch by Vyvhaan B) then saw them keep the opposition to 123 runs from their 20 overs. Once again, Oliver H and Zac B iced the match with some tight death over bowling. A special thank you to their legendary coach, Mr Osbourne for leading the boys to success.
