Introducing Mr Nick Meakes, our new Geography, Science and Christian Studies teacher!

Why are you excited to start teaching at St Luke's Grammar School?

Having lived on the beaches my whole life, I am beyond excited to be part of the way St Luke’s is educating, empowering and caring for the young people of the Northern Beaches.

What do you love about teaching?

I love seeking answers to the ‘how’ questions of this world we live in… how things move, grow, change. As a Christian, answering these questions helps me learn more about our creator - his majesty and grandeur!

What can you be found doing when you’re not teaching?

I love being outside, and even more so, being in the ocean. More often than not, you will find me surfing. If the surf is too small, you’ll find me spearfishing. And when the holidays come round, you’ll find my wife and I camping our way around Australia.

If you could travel (safely) anywhere in the world where would you go?

Somewhere in the Pacific or Indonesia.
